I currently have an issue where libzmq is built by a different minor version of the toolchain from my application. My application does not use /GL or /LTCG and still fails to build because it statically links libzmq. Link time code generation just ends up being more problematic versus anything gained in performance from whole program optimization. I don't think any of the other zeromq libs are using /GL and /LTCG.
