We currently override commons-lang3 and commons-io versions in our pom.xml to resolve transitive dependency conflicts. We expected these overrides to become unnecessary once Kafka 4.2 was released, as https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/21115 updates commons-lang3 to 3.20.0. However, that PR was not backported to Kafka 4.2, so the overrides are still needed.

Once Kafka 4.3 is supported within operator we can remove the explicit commons-lang3 and commons-io   dependencies from pom.xml.
