Site plugin fails

envgap__oshi__oshi-3047

01 / FAILURE SIGNATURE

As reported upstream

The job failed because the Maven changelog plugin used the git command `git whatchanged`, which is now deprecated and refused to run without the `--i-still-use-this flag`. The error message:
Not a benchmark task.
  • The project already builds and runs before the fix, so there is nothing to repair.

The job failed because the Maven changelog plugin used the git command `git whatchanged`, which is now deprecated and refused to run without the `--i-still-use-this flag`. The error message:

> fatal: refusing to run without --i-still-use-this

This means the command must be replaced, as it will stop working reliably in current and future git versions.

Solution:
1. Update the build or plugin configuration to replace git whatchanged with git log.
2. In the Maven changelog plugin configuration (typically in pom.xml), look for any explicit command configuration—modernize it if possible.
3. If updating the plugin is not possible, you may need to update to a newer plugin version or patch the plugin source code.

Practical Code Suggestions:
- If you are using maven-changelog-plugin 3.0.0-M1, consider upgrading to a newer version if available, as later versions may address this.
- If you must stick with this version, configure the plugin (in your pom.xml or CI script) to use git log instead. Example:

```xml
<plugin>
  <groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
  <artifactId>maven-changelog-plugin</artifactId>
  <version>3.0.0-M1</version>
  <configuration>
    <command>log</command>
    <!-- Other config -->
  </configuration>
</plugin>
```

- Alternatively, as a temporary workaround, you can pass the deprecated flag by setting an environment variable or patching the plugin's command invocation, but this is not recommended long-term.

Summary: Replace or reconfigure use of `git whatchanged` with git log in your changelog/plugin settings. Upgrade the plugin if possible for best compatibility.
