Something I noticed while looking at the action logs over in #8676 It appears to me that the `test-base` environments, which are supposed to have no dependencies installed, are picking up the dependencies in the default requirements in CI. For example - pick a `-base` test run from the action logs, e.g. [this one](https://github.com/networkx/networkx/actions/runs/26868812887/job/79238712420?pr=8676) then look at the results from the `pixi list -e test-base-<python version>`. It's showing numpy/matplotlib/scipy etc. as being installed though they shouldn't be. I looked at the pixi configs in `pyproject.toml` to see if I could figure out why this was happening but it wasn't immediately obvious to me.
