### Describe the issue

Why main branch (the current github default branch) is not in version 1.17 (or next 1.18) ?

i.e. https://github.com/google/googletest/commit/52eb8108c5bdec04579160ae17225d66034bd723 this patch should be applied asap or set version to `1.18.0`

### Steps to reproduce the problem

git clone then cmake configure and build and you'll get a googletest tagged as 1.16....
