The current plugin we are using seems to have moved to https://github.com/git-commit-id/git-commit-id-maven-plugin and new Maven Co-ordinates at https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/io.github.git-commit-id/git-commit-id-maven-plugin (was at https://central.sonatype.com/artifact/pl.project13.maven/git-commit-id-plugin - website now gone) We should review and migrate at some point, although `4.9.0` -> `10.0.0` looks pretty daunting for a maven plugin that looks at commits.
