### Your question

ComfyUI version: 0.3.27
Failed to check frontend version: No package metadata was found for comfyui-frontend-package
********** ERROR ***********

comfyui-frontend-package is not installed.

Please install the updated requirements.txt file by running:
/media/bb/Core/home/baron/ComfyUI/.venv/bin/python -m pip install -r /media/bb/Core/home/baron/ComfyUI/requirements.txt

This error is happening because the ComfyUI frontend is no longer shipped as part of the main repo but as a pip package instead.

If you are on the portable package you can run: update\update_comfyui.bat to solve this problem

Issue-specific recipe and runtime smoke command require review against the complete issue and repository.

Legacy already_works is install-only; proposed control still requires runtime verification.
